When we organized the 11th BlogWalk this spring in Amsterdam, we also announced we were planning the next BlogWalk for October, to take place in southern Germany or Vienna. And now it’s October, and you still haven’t heard about the next BlogWalk Salon! We’re sorry to announce that a BlogWalk this fall is at this point unlikely. Not because we don’t want to, but because Sebastian Fiedler, our intended host for the next Salon has some other personal and pressing things to attend to.
But don’t worry we’ll be looking to organize the 12th Salon as soon as we’re able to. This might mean early next year though. In the meantime do feel free to give us your suggestions for possible themes for the next BlogWalk, over at the programme page.

BlogWalk is now hosted on its own .EU domain. Lilia Efimova, Sebastian Fiedler and I see BlogWalk primarily as a European initiative. It grew out of the wish to have more informal face to face get-togethers throughout the continent, next to the more formal conferences where face to face time was sparse.
After being kindly hosted at the University of Augsburg, before migrating to my own server under a subdomain of Interdependent.biz, BlogWalk now has its own definitive web-home at http://www.blogwalk.eu/
Of course older links to blogwalk.interdependent.biz still work, and will keep working in the future.

With this customary title, we are taking another step of consolidating all BlogWalk information in one place. Next to the wiki workspace, this blog will serve as the channel for BlogWalk news items. We will be migrating historic information from the previous domain we used (blogwalk.mediapedagogy.com) as well.
Sebastian, Lilia and I are looking forward to continuing our BlogWalk efforts, and are looking at a possible next BlogWalk event in Amsterdam (Netherlands) in the spring of 2007.
