In brief
Date: May 28th 2004 (and informal gathering of early arrivals on the 27th)
Focus: The role of personal Webpublishing for self-organized and informal learning
Location:
Krakauer Turm (Cracow Tower), N?rnberg (Nuremberg), Germany. Krakauer Turm is only a short walk away (5-10 min) from the main train station and around the corner of station W?hrder Wiese on underground line 2 (U2) that connects the inner city with the airport (inner city public transport map).
Travel N?rnberg [city of N?rnberg - facts and figures] is conveniently located in the heart of Europe. It is very well connected via major motorway and train routes and has its own airport directly linked to the city's subway system.
If you consider to extend your visit, the region offers a good number of historic towns within easy reach: Bamberg (UNESCO world heritage), 50km; Bayreuth (town of Wagner festivals) in 70-80km; Regensburg 100km; W?rzburg, 100km ... plus many smaller towns in Franconian Switzerland or the Franconian Lake District.
